Fatsa mea (my face)

Joel Klepac did this sculpture of me one day. I just happened to walk in at a time when he was looking for a subject I guess :-). there's something about this that is just really cool. art art art...you're so mysterious

Thomitsa and I at the park. It's pretty much too cold to play, plus Tom would prefer to play for some money (about 40cents) so that he can feed his cats lol. cool guy.
The last couple times we've seen eachother, we've just talked for about an hour - no chess, just talk. He's a good man.

dude, i'm diggin' the beard. i kinda want to grow a beard, but we schoolteachers have to shave. you lucky missionary, you.

i'm really appreciating your thoughts on your blog and your recent update about fellowship and loneliness. i've been sooooo blessed to have Okada and Kristen, as well as a solid group of believers here in Parral with whom I get to hang out quite a bit. it's true, man. we NEED each other.

can't wait to catch up with you in person, man!

Ryan,
You are very right about art. I don't get it at all, but sometimes it's (insert artistic expression here in order to convey what my poor prose cannot).

You beard is amazing, does your mom know about it?

Oh my goodness Ryan! I'm so glad I looked at your blog again! You are such a good writer. I thought last week of how you tried to get Shane to throw a snowball. You remember that? Anyway, I can identify with your loneliness..even though i'm in a totally different context of life. It's so exciting that God is teaching you so much!..You are going to be a different person when you come back!

Anyway, take care, I hope to see you again some day.
